In November, Related Midwest hosted the first Curating Connections gathering, part of a series of networking events designed to bring together Chicago's construction, development and architecture industries. Focused on community development, the event began with a wine tasting led by local tastemaker Derrick Westbrook.
From October 11th to November 3rd, Related's Women’s Network partnered with nonprofit Bottomless Closet to host clothing donation drives at 30 Hudson Yards and 410 Tenth Avenue. Related team members provided gently used women's professional clothing items, which will be distributed to local women in need to prepare them for job interviews.
In October, Related's group of senior women leaders attended the TEDWomen 2023 Two Steps Forward Conference in Atlanta, GA. Over the course of three days, attendees listened to inspiring speakers who addressed the issue of global gender equality, participated in interactive Discovery Sessions and networked with leaders from around the world.
