On September 18th, Related Midwest team members supported Project H.O.O.D. as the community organization kicked off construction of the Leadership and Economic Opportunity center in Woodlawn, IL. Working as partners for 10 years, Related Midwest and LR Contracting are proud to provide resources and donations of services to Project H.O.O.D. so that the organization can pursue its mission of ending the cycle of poverty and violence in Chicago. Once complete, The Leadership and Economic Opportunity Center will offer residents a central place to connect, learn, exercise, garden and work on creative projects together, in addition to attracting local businesses and creating job opportunities
