What's Happening Around Our Affordable Communities Roosevelt Square named Multifamily Development of the Year for Chicago On March 25, Chicago mixed-income community Roosevelt Square took home the 2026 CoStar Impact Award for Multifamily Development of the Year, recognized for creating new affordable housing, retail and the National Public Housing Museum. Developed by Related Midwest and built in partnership with the Chicago Housing Authority and the Chicago Department of Housing, Roosevelt Square's latest phase introduced 207 apartments to Chicago’s Near West Side that have access to retailers including a grocery store and pizzeria, as well as building amenities including a fitness center and a terrace with grills and a dog run.
