On April 10, Related Midwest EVP of Architecture and Design Ann Thompson shared her insights at Business Power Breakfast: The Big Build — How Stadiums Shape Chicago’s Next Chapter, a discussion featuring city leaders hosted by Crain's Chicago Business. Thompson and the other panelists explored how local stadium projects, such as the new Chicago Fire FC stadium at The 78, can create a positive and lasting impact on the city's economy, infrastructure and communities.

From April 7-9, Related Companies' NY Development team members volunteered with Church of the Holy Apostles Soup Kitchen & Food Pantry (HASK) in West Chelsea, a neighborhood-serving organization that helps feed New Yorkers with hot meals and groceries. Related employees prepared grocery bags filled with fresh produce, proteins and non-perishable goods that will be distributed to locals living in Chelsea, Hell's Kitchen and Hudson Yards, demonstrating our commitment to supporting healthy and resilient communities.

On March 25, Related Midwest brought together the Chicago business community for Curating Connections, a dynamic panel discussion about how private-public partnerships can support equitable development with expanded access to capital for small businesses and community initiatives. Related Midwest VP of Development Michael Ellch led the conversation, which featured Ben Vera, director of the development finance group at D.A. Davidson & Co.; Colleen McNellis Collins, managing director Blue Owl; and Sean Rapelyea, senior advisor for external affairs at the Office of the Governor.
