Rosemary Square announces four new tenants to open in 2020

Rosemary Square will soon expand its offerings with a dynamic lineup of new retailers including two major lifestyle brands, UNTUCKit and Urban Outfitters, leading outdoor brand YETI, and the innovative new luxury electric vehicle brand Lucid Motors. The new additions are part of Related Companies’ ongoing efforts to transform the neighborhood into a true live, work, play destination, and all are slated to open this year.

“These creative retail experiences complement the fantastic culinary talent that’s coming to Rosemary Square,” said Gopal Rajegowda, SVP of Related Companies. “As the destination continues to evolve, we’re committed to partnering with brands that focus on community and enhance the overall experience of downtown West Palm.”

The first new shopping experience will be premium outdoor brand YETI. The Austin-based creator of the immensely popular coolers, drinkware, bags and outdoor gear will expand its national retail footprint with its location at Rosemary Square. Anticipated to open in Spring 2020, the 2,300-square-foot store will be located on the square. The brand selected Rosemary Square to engage their consumer base in a creative and dynamic way, including outdoor activations in the newly designed public spaces.

“With an active outdoor and fishing community and year-round sunshine, we feel West Palm Beach is a natural fit for our brand and presents us with an ideal store location,” said Rob Murdock, senior vice president, direct-to-consumer and managing director, international for YETI. “Rosemary Square’s focus on experiential retail, wellness and outdoor activities aligns perfectly with the pursuits that speak to our fans. YETI already possesses a strong and loyal following in the community, and we are eager to open our doors to share all that we have to offer with residents and visitors of West Palm.”

Additionally, two national clothing brands are anticipated to reimagine the retail experience at Rosemary Square by the fourth quarter of 2020. UNTUCKit, a digitally native brand recently recognized as a breakout retailer, will open a 1,600-square-foot location next to Sur La Table on the square. Founded in 2011, UNTUCKit got its start specializing in shirts designed to be worn untucked. The popular brand has quickly expanded to include T-shirts, polos, sports jackets and pants, along with a selection of shirts, dresses and blazers for women. Rosemary Square will be its seventh location in Florida, adding to more than 80 locations across the U.S. and Canada.

Known for providing a space for creative individuals, Urban Outfitters will bring its unique blend of clothing and lifestyle products to an expansive 12,300-square-foot, two-story space located across from City Cellar on the second floor and next to Anthropologie on the square. The Rosemary Square Urban Outfitters will be uniquely constructed by the brand’s team of designers, artists and builders to integrate custom-made display pieces and inventive design into the existing space. Anticipated to open in winter 2020, Urban Outfitters prides itself on representing community at all times by offering inclusion in social media, events, community involvement and entrepreneurial opportunities.

Rounding out the new additions is Lucid Motors, an innovative new luxury electric vehicle manufacturer that will open a 4,500-square-foot experience center located at the corner of Okeechobee Boulevard and Rosemary Avenue in the fourth quarter of 2020. Based in Silicon Valley, Lucid’s mission is to set a new standard for sustainable transportation with advanced luxury electric vehicles that are centered on the human experience. Lucid’s first vehicle, the Lucid Air, is intended to be the world's most advanced electric car, built upon the company's industry-leading proprietary electric powertrain technology. The Lucid Air is scheduled to begin production at Lucid’s manufacturing facility in Arizona in late 2020 and is already receiving wide acclaim from automotive journalists.

This new group of retail experiences will join a number of acclaimed culinary concepts that have recently opened or are planned to open at Rosemary Square this year. In November, Sur La Table, the leading culinary retail destination known for operating the largest non-professional cooking school, opened. Last month, acclaimed chefs Jeremy and Cindy Bearman opened High Dive, a relaxed, yet elevated seafood restaurant. Coming later this year are several health-conscious offerings including: True Food Kitchen, an award-winning eatery specializing in seasonal fare from Dr. Andrew Weil; Pura Vida, a Miami-based health-conscious cafe; and Planta, led by internationally celebrated chef David Lee and acclaimed restaurateur Steven Salm.
