Related Rentals partners with New York Cares to provide 18 public drop-off locations throughout NYC for holiday coat drive

Related Rentals is pleased to announce that it has partnered with New York Cares, a local nonprofit organization that works to meet pressing community needs by mobilizing caring New Yorkers in volunteer service, on the 27th Annual New York Cares Coat Drive. Beginning on December 1st, coat donation bins can be found in 18 Related Rentals properties in neighborhoods across Manhattan, creating many additional drop-off sites for the local communities.

"We are once again proud to partner with New York Cares in providing coats to those in need," said Tami Veikos, senior vice president of Related Management. "Providing donation bins for our residents is an easy and convenient way to help our building communities get involved with an important cause. And since our rental buildings span much of Manhattan, we've decided to open the initiative to the public this year—making the drop-off process simple for any New Yorker who wants to participate and spread some extra warmth this winter season."

This seasonal initiative hosted by New York Cares encourages the public to contribute clean gently used or new jackets and coats to fulfill requests from over 100,000 New Yorkers in need this winter. All sizes of coats and jackets are accepted: men's, women's, children's and infants. Labeled donation bins will be located in the lobbies of the following Related Rental buildings from December 1st until December 31st:

• Abington House - 500 West 30th Street
• The Tate - 535 West 23rd Street
• The Westminster - 180 West 20th Street
• The Caledonia - 450 West 17th Street
• The Sierra - 130 West 15th Street
