The Shops at Columbus Circle selected ahead of Macy’s, Lord & Taylor and Century 21 department store by the New York City association of hotel concierges

The Shops at Columbus Circle at Time Warner Center has been named the Best Retail Store by the New York City Association of Hotel Concierges (NYCAHC), an organization comprised of more than 200 members representing approximately 70 hotels in the New York metropolitan area. NYCAHC’s Concierge Choice Awards honors the best in hospitality, recognizing the companies, organizations and individuals who create exceptional experiences for New York City visitors.

The prestigious awards were bestowed upon the city’s elite in the tourist, theater, restaurant, retail, service and transportation industries in a ceremony on Oct. 1, 2012.

“Hotel concierges are often the first authority New York City visitors encounter and they play an integral role in enhancing the guest’s entire travel experience,” explained Stacey Feder, Vice President of Related Urban, which developed and manages The Shops at Columbus Circle. “The Shops at Columbus Circle and Time Warner Center strive to create a shopping destination worthy of their recommendation and we credit the city’s hotels and the NYCAHC with bolstering New York to 50 million visitors.”

NYCACH’s membership roster comprises concierges from the city’s most celebrated and sophisticated hotels.
