​​​​Completed in 2004, Pueblo del Sol is a mixed-use, mixed-income community of 377 affordable apartments and 93 for sale single-family homes located in the Boyle Heights neighborhood of East Los Angeles. A public-private partnership with the Housing Authority of the City of Los Angeles, McCormack Baron Salazar, Sun America Affordable Housing Partners and the Los Angeles Unified School District, this 35-acre distressed public housing site, formerly known as Aliso Village, was the largest public housing revitalization in California. Pueblo del Sol is a sustainable living environment with two community centers with exercise rooms, a swimming pool, a 1.5 acre park, several large tot lot/play areas and an on-site social services center providing job training, after school programs and computer classes.
