Located in downtown Mountain View, Related California and Alta Housing (Alta), in collaboration with the City of Mountain View, will transform a 1.56-acre, city-owned parking lot into an affordable, transit-oriented development with 120 apartments for low- and very low-income families earning between 30% to 60% Area Median Income. 20 apartments will be set aside for households transitioning out of homelessness through the Santa Clara County Office of Supportive Housing Rapid Rehousing (RRH) Program, 10 are designated for Permanent Supportive Housing and 15 apartments will be for households with individuals with intellectual or developmental disabilities in coordination with the San Andreas Regional Center and Housing Choices.  

The five-story development will include a ground floor lobby with multiple resident-serving amenities, including a multipurpose community room, teen lounge, central courtyard and bicycle lounge. There will be approximately 2,300 square feet of community-benefit space to accommodate a large range of programming to benefit residents and the larger community. 

Alta will implement a comprehensive onsite resident services program complemented by supportive services provided by Santa Clara County and Housing Choices. Completion is expected in Q1 2028.
