As President and Chief Executive Officer of Related California, Mr. Canori leads the firm’s mixed-use, multifamily and mixed-income residential development strategy throughout California. He currently oversees a $10 billion development pipeline comprising more than 7,000 multifamily and senior housing units and over 5 million square feet of commercial space across San Francisco, Silicon Valley, the East Bay, North Bay, Los Angeles and Orange County.
Mr. Canori directs an integrated development platform encompassing all phases of the development life cycle, including underwriting and acquisitions, planning and design, deal structuring, entitlements, public and private financing, construction, marketing and long-term asset management. Over the past 25 years, he has played a pivotal role in building Related California’s substantial portfolio of mixed-use and mixed-income developments, with aggregate development costs exceeding $7 billion.
Mr. Canori is a graduate of the University of Southern California Marshall School of Business. He serves on the Executive Committee for the USC Lusk Center for Real Estate, the Policy Advisory Board for the Fisher Center for Real Estate and Urban Economics at the Haas School of Business at the University of California at Berkeley and the National Association of Homebuilders Multifamily Leadership Board. He also serves on the Northern California Real Estate and Construction Industry Executive Committee and the Board of the City of Hope.
