David Zussman is the Chief Financial Officer of Related Companies, where he oversees the firm’s corporate finance, capital markets, accounting, and treasury functions. He also serves on the investment committees for Related, as well as the funds managed by Related Fund Management.
David joined Related in 2010 and has played a vital role in more than $30 billion of transactions across the portfolio. He played an integral role in the development, capital strategy, and financial management of Hudson Yards, the largest private real estate development in U.S. history.
David was selected for the Partnership for New York City’s 2016–2017 class of David Rockefeller Fellows and was named to Crain’s 40 Under 40 in 2022. He also serves on the Governing Board of America Needs You, a nonprofit that provides mentorship and career development support to first-generation college students.
Prior to Related, David worked in Lazard’s Real Estate Investment Banking group. He earned a BBA with High Distinction from the Stephen M. Ross School of Business at the University of Michigan.
