On April 29, Bloomberg shared that IBM is opening its FutureNow Chicago center at the Illinois Quantum and Microelectronics Park at Quantum Shore Chicago, bringing 750 new jobs in high-growth technology sectors. The center will focus on advancing applied innovation and helping industries solve real-world technology challenges, while intentionally building accessible career pathways for individuals across all levels of education. It will also anchor the Quantum Works building, a hub for cutting-edge research, applied innovation, industry, workforce development and community engagement.

On April 15, Related Beal's mixed-use development One Kenmore Square unveiled that global fitness brand Strong Pilates will open a new location within the building this summer, adding an exciting new wellness offering to one of Boston's most vibrant neighborhoods. The approximately 2,302-square-foot space will offer hybrid workouts that combine Pilates, cardio and strength training within low-impact, high-intensity classes, using proprietary machines to deliver full-body training sessions.

In April, colleagues throughout the Hudson Yards neighborhood were invited to an employee-exclusive event where they learned how to craft floral arrangements from a professional floral artist in honor of the Fleurs de Villes FLORA exhibition. Participants created personalized bouquets while enjoying floral-inspired drinks from Xing Fu Tang, taking home their arrangements to decorate their homes or to give to someone special.
