During Immigrant Heritage Week, observed every year from April 13 to April 19, the NYC Department of Cultural Affairs (DCLA), the NYC Economic Development Corporation (EDC), and Queens Development Group (QDG) have officially unveiled “The Shaping of New York,” a massive, 630-foot-long public art installation by artist Venazir Martinez, now on view at Willets Point.
