Stephen Ross and Related support Cornell Tech’s new Urban Tech Hub, which aims to make cities more resilient

With a mission to find innovative solutions for the most pressing problems that our cities face, the new Urban Tech Hub at Cornell Tech’s Jacobs Technion-Cornell Institute seeks to make our cities stronger, fairer and more resilient. Last year, the Urban Tech Hub launched with the support of a $15 million gift from Stephen Ross and Related, offering a new 2-year interdisciplinary program in urban tech. Among the projects that have emerged from the program so far are an interactive platform that will help digitize the educational campus experience, as well as a platform that uses machine learning, sensors and location data to guide visitors to safe, socially distanced restaurant seating. Read more about the program in the Cornell Chronicle.
