The Square continues partnership with Rohi's Readery to offer diverse community events

Located in downtown West Palm Beach, dynamic destination The Square offers the community a safe and inclusive place to gather and make memories. The Square has unveiled its Sweet Summertime programming, which will offer a series of all-ages events that are designed to educate, inspire and connect. One of the summer's cornerstone events will be Pride on the Block, a collaboration with Rohi's Readery and nonprofit Transpire Help that will offer a family- and teen-friendly safe space. For years, The Square has nurtured a programming partnership with Rohi's Readery, a local children's bookstore with a focus on social justice and providing critical literacy education, including events in honor of Holi, Black History Month and Women's History Month. This year's Pride on the Block festival will feature educational opportunities for all ages, such as storytime sessions with Rohi's Readery, art workshops, live performances and engaging conversations curated by Transpire Help around LGBTQIA+ experiences, art and culture. Visitors can also stop by the vendor marketplace and take part in teen youth activities sponsored by Compass. The pride party will culminate with the lighting of The Wishing Tree at 7pm, ending the day with a visual celebration of individuality and community.
