On October 16, Related Affordable Foundation and nonprofit partner KABOOM! celebrated the ribbon cutting of a brand new playspace at Skyview Downtown in Springfield, MA, which will bring joy to the community for years to come. During Build Week, a team of dedicated volunteers including team members, property staff, residents and local partners came together to install the playground. Prior to Build Week, Related Affordable Foundation and KABOOM! hosted a workshop with children residents to help them imagine their ideal playspace, using their drawings and feedback to shape the final project. This ribbon cutting event marks the eighth successful playground completion facilitated by Related Affordable Foundation and KABOOM!, embodying the commitment to create fun and safe environments for children nationwide.
