Leading up to Thanksgiving, Related employees celebrated Thanksgiving across the company's regional offices and residences, volunteering their time to help fellow community members and organizing memorable gatherings that fostered connection. We're so thankful for our generous team members, and for all the people who call our properties home. In Boston, Related Beal team members supported the No Books No Ball Turkey Giveaway, where turkeys and Thanksgiving meals were supplied to local families in need. Employees also donated their time with Shirley's Pantry, which provides emergency food assistance and healthy meal options to the greater Boston community.In Chicago, Related Midwest employees joined Quantum Shore Chicago partners CRG, Chicago Quantum Constructors and PsiQuantum to support local food pantries in their community. Volunteers helped five food pantries that serve families who live in South Chicago’s 7th and 10th Wards.In Portland, Related Northwest and development partners Walsh Construction Co. and the Housing Authority of Clackamas County orchestrated their annual Thanksgiving giveaway at Blossom & Community Apartments, the first completed community within affordable redevelopment Hillside Park. Team members provided residents turkeys and hams for the holidays, part of the company's commitment to serving its communities.In New York, volunteers from Related Management Company contributed to nonprofit Foster Love's Sweet Cases Program, assembling personalized duffel bags filled with essentials that were provided to children who are moving between foster homes.Also in New York, luxury residence One Hudson Yards hosted a Friendsgiving Social for residents and their families. Chef and food stylist Ashton Keefe and farmers market service Farm To People provided seasonal pies and light bites. Additionally, The Cortland hosted a cornucopia-making workshop part of Related Kids Club, and Lantern House organized a Thanksgiving wine tasting event in partnership with local small business Community Wine and Spirits.Across the country, Related Affordable employees have been spreading festive cheer with events and initiatives serving residents at communities. Our team members hosted memorable Thanksgiving events at Clarendon Court Apartments, The Pines, Ridgewood at Panther Creek, Carousel Park and more, bringing residents together for delicious holiday meals within their communal spaces. Employees also coordinated donations to the US Marine Corps Reserves' Toys 4 Tots Program at Highlands, participated in a turkey giveaway with the NYPD at Gateway and planned the annual Thanksgiving raffle at River Pointe.Thank you to everyone who has helped spread holiday magic and make a difference in their communities!
