Since 2000, The Square has served downtown West Palm Beach as a culturally-rich meeting place featuring shops, restaurants, offices, residences, entertainment spaces and a hotel. The Square highlights culture and art prominently in the form of physical installations, like large interactive sculptures The Wishing Tree and Water Pavilion West Palm, as well as ongoing programming like weekly live music nights, art classes that benefit local non-profits and the rotating New Wave Artist-in-Residence program where visitors can watch artists create in real-time. Over the past year, a number of new restaurants have opened, including environmentally-conscious eateries True Food Kitchen, Planta and Pura Vida, as well as stores like lululemon, West Elm, Urban Outfitters and electric car purveyor Lucid Motors. One exciting opening was for one-of-a-kind children’s bookstore Rohi’s Readery, which is committed to empowering and educating visitors about inclusivity and diversity with a unique selection of books, in-store resources and family-friendly programming. New program The Square Rewards was also launched, which encourages visitors to support local shops and restaurants in the Square with an app that provides rewards and benefits with every eligible purchase.

Adjacent to The Square is Hilton West Palm Beach, a 400-room tropical home away from home that is also linked to the Palm Beach County Convention Center. The hotel’s resort-style pool is a major draw for visitors and it also hosts ongoing programming and activities, including weekly fitness classes that are open to the public. The hotel has also teamed up with The Square to offer District Fit, a multi-day wellness festival that includes fitness classes, nutritional talks with leading chefs and more. Whether dining at Galley—the hotel’s full-service restaurant—or attending a wedding or event, guests can experience executive chef Guillermo P. Eleicegui’s classic yet internationally inspired cuisine with a focus on grilled specialties. This year, Galley is hosting a monthly series led by Chef Guillermo called Parrilla con Amigos (Grilling With Friends), where guests receive 7 curated courses, live music and an interactive dining experience with chef Eleicegui. Over the past year, the team at Hilton West Palm Beach has also remained committed to supporting the West Palm Beach community, including volunteering with Feed South Florida to feed over 40,000 families, donating 500 masks to non-profit Quantum House, organizing a blood drive in partnership with OneBlood and curating and distributing care packages for Hilton team members.

Within the The Square neighborhood, new Class A office building 360 Rosemary has officially opened its doors this year and is now welcoming its first tenants. Yinka Shonibare’s large-scale undulating sculpture Material (SG) II greets visitors in front of the building, signaling the importance of world-class artwork to visually inspire. Inside, the state-of-the-art LEED Gold CS building combines cutting-edge technology with wellness features, sustainable design and plenty of open, communal spaces. Everything from contactless entry and anti-microbial architectural features to noise isolation technology has been implemented to ensure that workers will feel comfortable and experience elevated standards of wellness. Outdoor areas make up over 10,000 square feet of 360 Rosemary, including two plant-filled landscaped terraces that provide room for workers to get fresh air and connect with colleagues. 5G data services are supported throughout the building, as well as high-speed destination dispatch elevators, and a 100% generator backup provides uninterrupted services even in the event of an outage. Only steps away from all that The Square has to offer and plenty of transportation options, including Virgin Trains’ high-speed rail service, 360 Rosemary allows easy access to the best of downtown West Palm Beach and beyond.

Related Southeast has added to its growing Class-A office portfolio with the recent additions of Phillips Point, a 455,000-square-foot tower with 270-degree panoramic views of the Atlantic Ocean, the Intracoastal Waterway and the Island of Palm Beach; Esperanté Corporate Center, one of the area’s premier commercial properties; and CityPlace Tower, a 300,000-square-foot building that Related originally purchased and developed nearly 12 years ago. This fall, Related Southeast will be breaking ground on 1 Flagler, a 25-story Class-A office tower designed by world-renowned architect David Childs & SOM that will include 250,000 square feet of office space and 15,000 square feet of restaurant and retail space, and is expected to be completed in late 2023.
