Every year, Related's residential buildings celebrate the winter holidays with events that bring residents together and that give back to our communities.
Throughout December, Related residents in San Francisco celebrated joyous holiday with holiday-themed cocktail mixology classes. They also contributed to holiday toy drives organized by the San Francisco Firefighters.
Residents at The Grand by Gehry enjoyed a fun-filled holiday party featuring light bites, refreshments and a live band. The building also partnered with nonprofit Baby2Baby in order to sponsor a gift package for a local child and his mother. The gift package included a gift card, winter coat, clothing, sneakers, toys, books and more.
Related Midwest, Related Management and The Related Affordable Foundation hosted a large holiday gathering for Chicago's Northpoint Apartments’ residents. Residents spent quality time with their families and neighbors, taking photos with Santa, receiving presents from a giveaway and enjoying treats like hot chocolate and holiday cookies. Residents across Chicago's portfolio also donated to the Toys for Tots program, providing holiday gifts to children in need.
In New York City, Santa Claus made a special appearance to The Shops & Restaurants at Hudson Yards, where Related residents experienced a private meet-and-greet with the jolly man himself. The renowned Young People’s Chorus of NYC also put on a series of special performances at various residences, performing classics that delivered holiday cheer. At Tribeca Park, the building's littlest residents joined an arts and crafts event where they created their very own winter snow globe ornaments.
