Related offices and properties celebrates Women's History Month with engaging events

This Women's History Month, Related Companies celebrates the women in our company and beyond. In March, Related's offices and properties around the country hosted engaging events, curated cultural offerings and showcased women and all their hard work, both in their careers and personal lives.

At Related's corporate offices, Related Womens ERG organized a special Giving Campaign to help raise funds for the National Women's Shelter Network and The Loveland Foundation. Additionally, on March 24, the Women's ERG organized a virtual installment of its Lunch & Learn series featuring some of the most impactful women at Related. Honoring International Women’s Day, Related employees dressed in purple all week long to recognize women teammates and for their achievements in the industry. 

In Chicago, Related Midwest's women employees attended an International Women’s Day event organized by IWF Chicago. "Women at the Top of Their Game" featured speaker Sandra Douglas Morgan, one of the first women to be president of an NFL team, who shared her insights about life and her storied career.

In London, the King's Cross neighborhood unveiled outdoor art exhibition HighlightHer, which took over the Granary Square art benches all month long. Local artist Hanna Benihoud's colorful illustrations focused on all the "extraordinary ordinary" women in our societies who are rarely acknowledged, but who make a huge difference in our lives. 

At our New York City residences, the programming team behind Related Life brought residents together with events that celebrated local trailblazing women. The Cortland hosted a delicious Mediterranean brunch pop-up with the founder of female-owned company Sababa Foods. At The Set, residents gathered on International Women's Day for an inspiring discussion with Erika Ayers Baden, former CEO of Barstool Sports and current CEO of Food52.

On March 18, Related affiliate energyRe served as a founding sponsor for the Networking Breakfast hosted by Women of Renewable Industries and Sustainable Energy (WRISE), which took place during the Infocast Solar + Wind Finance Summit in Phoenix, AZ. energyRe also put a spotlight on Human Resources Manager Elizabeth Minter, GMS for a Women’s Leadership Series webinar, where she led a discussion about how to embrace challenges within today's workplace.
