On August 25, Related Midwest, LR Contracting Company and AFL-CIO Housing Investment Trust hosted a Labor Day Luncheon to recognize the dedicated tradespeople currently working on the 400 Lake Shore construction site. Around 300 workers, partners, union leaders and dignitaries attended the event, highlighting the importance of collaboration in completing this transformative residential project. Only one year after its groundbreaking, 400 Lake Shore is reshaping the city's skyline on the distinguished lakefront site, where it will introduce luxury and affordable residences and 4.5 acres of open and green space to the Streeterville neighborhood. Designed by Skidmore, Owings & Merrill with David Childs and featuring interiors by MAWD, 400 Lake Shore will offer stunning city and lake views from two iconic high-rise towers, complemented by a plaza between the towers that will encompass amenities, retail space and public art.
