On November 6, Related Companies co-hosted a special Wells Fargo Veterans Day Celebration at Hudson Yards, honoring the selflessness, courage and leadership of those who have served our country. Hosted by Bruce A. Beal, Jr., president of Related Companies, and Kara McShane, head of commercial real estate at Wells Fargo, the event brought together members of our veteran community, colleagues and partners for an inspiring evening. The programming began with a conversation with Elliot Ackerman, a Marine Corps veteran and NY Times best-selling author, who discussed finding his purpose in service and his transition back to civilian life. The event's highlight was a fireside chat between our colleague, executive vice president Frank Monterisi (Marine Corps Captain), and General James Mattis, the four-star general and former U.S. Secretary of Defense. Thank you to all of our guests who attended and showed support for our servicemembers and their invaluable contributions—to our nation, to our organization and to our communities.
