On May 20, Related Beal, BPDA, MOAC and community members celebrated the opening of the Toussaint Louverture Cultural Center of Massachusetts. Located within mixed-use development Lovejoy Wharf, Boston's first Haitian cultural center will serve as a permanent home for Haitian arts, education and history and provide year-round community programming, including author talks, youth workshops and a cultural library. After winning a grant in 2023 from Boston Planning & Development Agency (BPDA) and the Mayor’s Office of Arts and Culture (MOAC), TLCC will operate within Lovejoy Wharf for 25 years rent-free. Related Beal additionally contributed $50,000 to help bring the center to life, and the company is proud to support TLCC's mission and to witness its impact on the neighborhood and on the city's Haitian community.
