On June 11th, Related collaborated with nonprofit The Boys & Girls Clubs of Southeastern Michigan (BGCSM) and digital workflow provider ServiceNow to organize a Tech Showcase Pitch Competition in Detroit. The competition brought together a curated group of some of the most talented and innovative young people from the area. Participants demonstrated to a panel of judges from ServiceNow and the Boys & Girls Club how their particular business ideas could help solve pressing problems in society, spanning across categories including health care, the housing crisis, education, fashion, digital literacy, retail, environmental issues and generational wealth. The winning entrepreneurs received funding to help turn their ideas into real businesses, powered by a $10,000 contribution from ServiceNow. Related is proud to support Detroit's future entrepreneurs and to help develop the region's talent pipeline.
