On August 4th, Related Affordable joined partners and city officials to commemorate the newly renovated Friendship Court Apartments and St. Francis Park in Anderson, South Carolina. Related Affordable provided comprehensive renovations to Friendship Court Apartments, an affordable community featuring 80 units that was built in 1972. Residents will now enjoy significant enhancements to their homes' interiors, amenity spaces, landscaping and security system, including new appliances, new roofing and windows, ADA accessibility and more. Related Affordable Foundation and KABOOM! also worked with the City of Anderson to upgrade the amenities at St. Francis Park, which is adjacent to Friendship Court. Residents and the surrounding community will now have access to a multi-sport court, stationary fitness equipment, a drop-shot game for younger children, park benches, a walking path and new landscaping. Related is proud to preserve and rehabilitate affordable housing for our residents for years to come.
