From June 11-14, Edge at Hudson Yards celebrated the grand opening of its new immersive experience, which features seven permanent interactive installations inspired by New York City's unforgettable lights, movement and energy. Opening weekend visitors explored the brand new multi-sensory experience 1,110 feet above Manhattan's West Side, which was created in collaboration with Moment Factory, Journey and SOFTlab. Guests also participated in activities and festivities including meditation sessions, Vinyl & Views DJ sets, face painting, live music, dance performances, giveaways and more.

Before stepping foot onto the outdoor observation deck, visitors can discover the seven dazzling installations part of the all-new Edge NYC experience. Visits will begin at Prism, which invites guests to walk through a constantly changing prism of lights that refract different colors, patterns and angles depending on where they move. Pulse surrounds guests with more than 350 glowing color-changing globes that pulse with white light and create a completely unique visual experience each time. Skyrise presents a cinematic elevator experience paired with visuals and sounds that enhance the journey of rising 100 floors above NYC in less than a minute. Reflections features a forest of 200 spinning mirrored surfaces that combine with responsive light shows, inviting movement and exploration. Kaleidoscope offers a series of enormous kaleidoscope rooms filled with original music and shifting colors and lights—including NYC's largest kaleidoscope—with nearby spaces that evolve with patterns, photo spots and interactive elements. At Crystal Cave, guests can spend time under a 25-foot crystal canopy, where giant crystals catch light and reflect rainbows throughout the space. And lastly, Infinite City features 18 large-scale columns filled with light, mimicking skyscrapers in scale and responding to guests' movements with waves of color and sound.

Thank you to everyone who joined us and helped bring this amazing experience to life! And if you haven't visited yet, we look forward to welcoming you soon.
