Four years after renovations were completed and preservation status was secured at The Woodlands, Texas, the property's four neighboring communities are not just preserved, but thriving. Composed of The Pines, 333 Holly, Ridgewood at Panther Creek and Pineview at Grogans Mills, The Woodlands provides affordable housing for low-income individuals, families and seniors, located just 28 miles north of Houston. After acquiring these properties, Related Affordable finished comprehensive renovations in 2021 on all residences, common areas and major buildings, in addition to ensuring that they would remain affordable for years to come. Thanks to the shared commitment of our colleagues and trusted community partners like the YMCA of Greater Houston, whose ongoing engagement has been essential to this work, our residents are benefitting from new amenities and programming. The YMCA provides engaging offerings for residents of all ages at these properties, including fitness classes, tai chi, dance and more. We're deeply grateful to everyone who has helped strengthen the fabric of this community, enhancing residents' lives with beautiful spaces to live, learn and connect in.
