On Earth Day and all throughout Earth Month, employees across Related connected outdoors and contributed to their local communities. This continued commitment to the environment is key to our development philosophy and to our approach of uplifting the neighborhoods that we serve.In New York City, Related Companies' corporate team joined a volunteering opportunity on Earth Day hosted by Hudson Yards Hell’s Kitchen Alliance at Bella Abzug Park. Volunteers helped planting a 20-year-old European Beech tree and shoveling over 3,000 pounds of soil. In Chicago, Related Midwest's office commemorated Earth Day with a team walk alongside the Chicago River. Employees connected with nature and each other in the beautiful spring weather, serving as a reminder of how important it is to take care of our communities and our environment.In Boston, Related Management Company (RMC) colleagues participated in multiple community-wide projects part of Boston's annual “Love Your Block” initiative, which encourage people to beautify the city's public spaces for everyone's enjoyment.
