North London’s 180-acre Brent Cross Town is combining some of the most coveted features of city living within a spacious and active new neighborhood. From thousands of homes to offices to restaurants and recreation, Brent Cross Town will offer invaluable community benefits all within walking distance. Known as a “15-minute city,” walkable urban centers are becoming one of the most popular development trends in Europe, as an increasing number of people are looking for places to live that are only walking distance from where they work, shop and relax. Set amid 50 acres of parks and green space, the neighborhood will also support lifestyles geared towards sports and the outdoors, encouraging residents to gather in communal areas and get to know their neighbors.

New renderings of Brent Cross Town’s office buildings reveal an eye towards innovation, work-life balance and sustainability. Architecture firms Studio Egret West, HawkinsBrown and shedkm have released design plans that favor low-carbon construction using timber and zero carbon heating systems, with a community-wide goal to reach net zero carbon by 2030. One of the major draws for the estimated 25,000 future workers of Brent Cross Town will be the potential to achieve a higher quality of life than ever before, as they’ll have access to plenty of shared spaces for collaboration, training and events, as well as multiple dining, shopping and exercise options only steps away. Workers will also be close to the new rail station at Brent Cross West, which can reach central London in only 12 minutes, making the neighborhood even more convenient for commuters.
