Edge unveils City Climb, a skyscraping adventure 1,200+ feet above NYC

Opening November 9th, 2021, City Climb at Edge invites adventurous visitors to scale the outside of supertall 30 Hudson Yards and reach Edge’s sky-high platform—the highest external building climb in the world. After experiencing impressive views of New York City firsthand, climbers will receive honorary medals and can celebrate their ascent with a glass of champagne.

At 30 Hudson Yards’ lobby, Jaume Plensa’s sculpture bridges diverse languages and cultures

Jaume Plensa’s artwork Voices inspires people in the lobby to look up, as most New Yorkers spend significant time looking down. This sculpture reflects the concept of shared humanity and diversity, with each orb containing letters from alphabets around the world.

From October 18-21st, Hudson Yards hosted 4-day conference Advertising Week 2021, which brought together leaders from global companies and brands, ad agencies, performers, influencers and the brightest minds in the advertising industry. Sessions covered everything from cutting-edge technology to the roots of creativity.

Related Rentals hosts annual Fall Harvest Festival for residents

On October 23rd, Related Rentals hosted the Fall Harvest Festival for NYC residents. Within the courtyard of Abington House, residents took their pick of pumpkins from the large pumpkin patch, then enjoyed arts and crafts, live music, a beer and wine tasting and an on-site photo booth. The event was filled with lots of fun and laughter.

Converted into affordable housing for senior citizens in the early 1980’s, the building was acquired by Related Affordable in partnership with St. Mary Development Corporation in 2020. A renovation has since been underway.

It’s making sure they never come back and that’s what this building will do,” said Christine Quinn The President and CEO of Win at the Harriet Tubman ribbon cutting ceremony, on August 3rd. Queens Borough President Donovan Richards attended the event.
