Related has a wealth of experience in creatively addressing every element of the development process including site acquisition and planning approvals, financing, construction, design, leasing, marketing and property management.

Since 1993, Related has been developing and managing category-dominant big-box shopping centers. Some of our larger and more complex projects include Gateway Center at Bronx Terminal Market in the Bronx, New York; College Point in College Point, New York; Clifton Commons in Clifton, New Jersey; and Gateway Center in Brooklyn, New York. Due to the success of Gateway Center, a second phase comprising 620,000 square feet is in development. Given the company’s size and scope, we have both the technical background and financial strength to execute a retail project of virtually any size or complexity.

Related’s in-house retail leasing team has deep relationships with a diverse roster of local, national and international players ranging from luxury boutiques to promotional category dominant retailers and has garnered an unrivaled level of respect throughout the culinary community, showcased by The Restaurant & Bar Collection at Time Warner Center. Related leads the ongoing leasing of the retail space at Time Warner Center in New York City and CityPlace in West Palm Beach, and was responsible for the recent successful re-leasing strategy at One Union Square South representing over a block of street frontage and 100,000 square feet of commercial space.

Related also lends its expertise on development, management and leasing to owners of several marquee retail and mixed-use developments including Sky View Parc in Flushing, New York, and Anaheim GardenWalk in Anaheim, California.
