Luxury Residential

Related Companies is a leader in luxury residential real estate and one of the largest developers in the country. To date, we have developed over 25,000 units of luxury residential housing – both rental and for-sale – in New York City, Boston, Washington, DC, Chicago, San Francisco, Los Angeles and South Florida. All of our residential developments reflect our abiding commitment to excellence and our highly entrepreneurial approach, from our innovative financing strategies to our creative techniques in product design and development.

With The Chatham, our first New York City luxury condominium, we sought to enhance the value of a luxury for-sale high-rise by commissioning a celebrated architecture firm, Robert A.M. Stern Architects. By providing a unique and highly desirable living environment within a superior product, we achieved premium pricing in the marketplace and generated higher returns for our investors.

On Manhattan’s Upper East Side, we pioneered another innovative concept with One Carnegie Hill. This distinctive property combines 260 rental apartments and 200 for-sale residences, sharing an enviable package of amenities designed by Rockwell Group. The successful hybrid formula was applied to three other properties: The Caledonia on the High Line Park in West Chelsea; The Clarendon/One Back Bay in Boston, and MiMA, a 63-story residential tower designed by Arquitectonica with interiors by Rockwell Group. Inspired by its location in the middle of Manhattan, MiMA features over 44,000 square feet of fitness, entertainment and lifestyle amenities. It is also home to Signature Center, Signature Theatre Company’s collection of off-Broadway theaters, and YOTEL New York, an innovative 669 room first class hotel.

Other noteworthy developments in New York City include 15 and 35 Hudson Yards, pioneering new heights in luxury living; One Central Park, super-luxury boutique residences at the iconic Time Warner Center; three luxury condominium buildings designed by Robert A.M. Stern: The Brompton, The Harrison and Superior Ink; and Riverwalk Court and Riverwalk Crossing, the fifth and sixth of a total of nine buildings, which will comprise Related’s Riverwalk community on Roosevelt Island. In Los Angeles, The Century, a 42-story tower designed by Robert A.M. Stern Architects, represents a unique residential offering: the ultimate in luxury living within a vertical environment, never before available in Los Angeles.
